Funny to see that on Facebook Ian has listed "Flexi time abuser" as his job at Pearl Assurance.
 Me and Ian started work together there as 16 year olds, where we had to clock in and out and after Ian found himself a 'few' hours behind the curve we had a good idea(!) We knew where the boss kept the keys to the flexi-clocks, so waited behind on a Friday night and tried to force the dials onwards (it was a bit like a gas meter). After a bit of trying and failing I tried the black button at the side of the dial to see if it unlocked them but... what do you know it was a reset button!!! I kind of pulled my finger off as soon as I saw what was happening but the numbers ended up halfway between 0's and 1's. Shite! What to do?
 In the end we locked it back up again, went to the pub (what else?) and spent the weekend worrying and plotting what to do. In the end the best we could come up with was that when Ian came in on the Monday he put his key in then reported to the boss that something had happened to his flexi-clock. The boss ummed and arred a bit then decided it must have simply malfunctioned (phew!) so he'd reset it and manually add the hours to date on. The boss asked Ian how many hours he done and Ian obviously added the missing 'few' hours on, plus a few more for the worry! Happy days!
